Technologic Association In Turkey

In the period of AKINSOFT's 18th Anniversary celebration, we also published the 17th issue of our Inovax Magazine. In 18 years, we have achieved many innovations with our work on behalf of technology in our country. A new one is the promotional cocktail of the Humanoid Robot AKINCI-2, that we held in the Foyer area of our AKINSOFT Headquarters Plaza on April 12, 2013, which is our anniversary.

We have now proven that we have been in this sector for 18 years, that is, we have reached our maturity. AKINCI-2 was followed with great interest by the public. In addition, AKINCI-2 took place with wide coverage in the National and Local Media. I would like to thank all the representatives of our National and Local Press who supported us.

In order to have the same technology as developed countries, we aim to start mass production in Robotic Technologies in 2015, with our robotic laboratories that we established and developed with our own capital, with our Humanoid Robots designed and produced by Turkish engineers, and with our efforts to show the world that we can be successful in this area again.

What is this humanoid robot? What will it do for us? Let me explain to those who are wondering. We introduced AKINCI-1, Turkey's first commercial humanoid robot, in 2011. With the development of features of AKINCI-1, we introduced our robot named AKINCI-2 to the public. AKINCI-1; could answer questions asked, perform mathematical operations easily, follow the images and fulfill the given commands. It was also capable of imitating human muscle system and its movements exactly.

AKINCI-2, is the first commercial humanoid mobile robot produced in Turkey. In addition to the features that AKINCI-1 performs, it can stand on its feet, walk, identify more than one object by focusing, maintain its balance against the physical effects it receives from outside, perceive its environment in 3D, focus towards people close to it, grasp objects using its hands, it can perceive and use the objects it grasps in accordance with its functions, it can scan and explain the information requested from it using the internet from encyclopedic data banks, it can be controlled via voice processing and wireless network, and its status can be monitored. AKINCI-2, which is 65 kilograms and 1.60 meters tall, has a humanoid structure consisting of 26 joints on the body and 20 joints in the hands, a total of 46 joints. AKINCI-2, which can stand on its feet without any support, strictly fulfills the commands it receives from outside and can perform its functions for a longer time by getting its energy from the lithium-polymer batteries on it.

Let's question , "What will these robots do for us?" . When AKINCI reaches its mass production target in 2015, it will be able to work comfortably in many sectors by the ability to perform human movements one-to-one. AKINCI may undertake to carry out the works in which people are harmed while working. It can guide in crowded places, especially in areas where there is a lot of people such as airports and shopping malls. It is possible to increase these examples. In short, “AKINCI” will start to work in every sector that can make people's work easier in the future.

In terms of technology, we show that we are always open to innovations not only with our robotic works, but also in terms of software. We continue to grow and develop by signing a strategic cooperation agreement with YANDEX search engine on April 22, 2013 , which has an important place in the world and has recently been shining thanks to its efforts towards our culture in Turkish market , clinching our success. While we continue to serve our end users with our wide area of influence in Turkey, it will be beneficial for both sides to have an agreement with such a widespread technology company.

Our projects are not limited with country. We continue to work globally. In this sense , the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania , His Excellency Genci MUÇAJ and  First Secretary of the Ambassador of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Saimir KURTİ, visited me at my institution on April 26, 2013. The Rector of Selcuk University, Governor of Konya and Konya Chamber of Industry were visited together with the Ambassador, hosted by me. In the future, we will continue to take steps to strengthen the relations between the countries. In the light of our glorious history, we will continue our communications by preserving our commercial and cultural values, in terms of increasing interactions between countries.

While we continue to keep the pulse of technology in Turkey, it is only a matter of time before we have a say in this field in the world. I would like to express my gratitude once again to the technology lovers who support us morally and be with us in every work we do. While I am ending my sentences for now with the wish to leave a future to new generations where they can be more successful with technology, I continue my technology studies from where I left off.
