My interest in technology, which started in high school, brought me to the point of doing a doctorate in robotic technologies. My belief in the necessity of managing a virtual product such as software with a real network of relations and doing what I love are the most important factors that bring me success in business life. With this belief, I have developed more than 120 commercial and sectoral programs based on Windows, DOS and Internet. My company AKINSOFT, which has reached a network of more than 2000 solution partners in Turkey, exports software to 11 countries in the world, especially the Central Asian Turkish Republics.
Thanks to the superior performance of the AKINSOFT family, we achieved our goal of starting R&D studies on Robotics Technologies in 2009, which was planned in 2010 vision and fulfilled our visions before the dates we always set. Not only as a businessman, but also as a scientist, I focused on Robotic Technologies, which I see as the technology of the future. I hope that in a few months we will share with you the prototype of our first agricultural robot.
Our country's greatest resource is undoubtedly our youth, who make up the majority of our population. Our young people, who are fit, dynamic and excited, want to produce, develop and be present in every field. Unfortunately, not being able to produce while having such a young population worries our young people about the future. Our young people, whose confidence in their country and their country's administrators have decreased, are gradually moving away from politics. On the other hand, the world is changing rapidly and our country wants to have a bigger say in the 21st century in parallel with these developments. Countries that can make their technological breakthroughs can keep up with the change, while those that can't remain as satellites of other countries. Indicators show that without technological independence, complete independence cannot be achieved. I think that we do not have time to wait for 4 more years in a period when scientific developments are rapidly transforming, and since the experience I gained in the private sector, the necessary measures should be taken by the state as soon as possible, so I decided to become an Independent Member of Parliament for Konya.
We have imported many products that make our lives easier over the years, and when we look at our production, we see that our own brands and productions are not enough. As in every field, we are a country that imports, not produces, in the field of technology, and as a result, we are foreign-dependent in many areas from our defense industry to our production industry. The state does not provide the necessary support to the technology infrastructure and private sector's efforts to fill this gap causes a little mobility in employment , but the technological breakthrough made by state will enable to catch much higher employment rates and to get rid of the future anxiety of our young people who are always neglected. For this reason, the "Ministry of Technology" must be established and all production-oriented projects must be supported.
I think that identity arguements , political conflicts or polemics delay the production attack of our country. The question of how we can take this country and our people further should be constantly asked, solutions should be found and these solutions should be implemented immediately. The solution of social problems will arise from employment, employment from production, production from technology. We have an ever-increasing export, which is pleasing, but when we produce and export the technology, these figures can rise even higher.
Another issue I would like to draw your attention to is our defense industry. Over the years, we have spent hundreds of billions of dollars on our defense industry. Although we spend such high figures, we do not have domestic production. We could neither build our own tank nor our own warplane. Mechanical parts came from foreign countries, we only contributed to the assembly. When we wanted to fly our plane, we could not take part in any of the struggles that they did not want, because other countries made the software. Our defense industry is dependent on outside and the only way to get rid of this dependency is to produce the technology ourselves.
We did not mention any project we would not do, or any service that our people would not benefit from, in our list. Our aim is to implement projects that will contribute greatly to Turkish economy, the economy of Konya and to follow up these projects in the parliament on your behalf, on behalf of people of Konya.
