Dear INOVAX readers, we are leaving behind another year full of success and at a busy pace. As you know, 2022 has been a year in which some restrictions applied due to the coronavirus pandemic, which affected the whole world, were left behind. Although the restrictions have been lifted and the practices of returning to normal have begun, the destruction and impact of the pandemic continue throughout the world. Especially economically and socially. As I mentioned before, humanity is going through a great process of change and transformation. The transformation experienced in many areas from education to tourism, from health to business and social life is again taking place on the basis of technology and digitalization. Therefore, developments in the field of science and technology continue unceasingly in order to serve humanity.
As AKINSOFT and AKINROBOTICS, we continued our work by accelerating in such a process where digitalization has become increasingly widespread all over the world. We are welcoming the year 2023, leaving behind a year in which we added new ones to our projects and future works that we produced with our science and technology heritage from the past. As you know, we could not organize our workshop, which we hold on certain dates every year and where we come together with our solution partners, in the past two years due to the pandemic. After these two years, we organized our 2022 workshop, which was very productive, in Antalya with great participation. We will continue our work with the decisions we made in our workshop, where we listened to the voices of our solution partners, and with the innovative solutions, we will develop on the demands coming from the field. In another organization, we organized the Bonus Award Presentation Ceremony, which we could hold face-to-face after 2 years. At the 18th Bonus Award Ceremony, which we also held in Antalya, we crowned the achievements of our solution partners, who ranked in their category and successfully completed the bonus period, with awards.
This year, we had new participations in our solution partner structure, which we attach great importance to. In this context, 4 regional dealers, 25 main dealers and 147 sales points were included in the AKINSOFT Solution Partner family in 2022. We continued our work in the field of foreign trade by accelerating. Accordingly, we have included 7 new countries and 11 new solution partners in our system. The year 2022 was a year in which we stood out with our advertising efforts. This year, we have added our national television advertising work to our hundreds of commercials in the digital field. Our national advertisement work, which we prepared with a large budget and an effective production, was broadcast on 7 different national channels.
Our Istanbul Regional Directorate continues to serve with its new building.
The new building of our Istanbul Regional Directorate was put into service. Yes, as it will be remembered, I shared with you last year that the rebuilding process of our Istanbul plaza started and that it will be completed and put into service in a short time. Our new plaza, which was built with a futuristic approach and attracts attention with its modern appearance and technological infrastructure, will also generate its own energy thanks to the solar panels on it. In today’s world, where the energy and climate crisis gains more importance, we will also contribute to nature with this feature.
As AKINSOFT, I briefly mentioned the works we carried out in 2022. Of course, as AKINROBOTICS, we left behind another busy year. As in previous years, we continue our work with great enthusiasm and determination to serve science and humanity with new projects, as well as the development of existing studies. As a result of the work we have done this year, we have added a new one to our social robots: ADA7. The 7th generation ADA7 of the ADA series, which we have brought together the features of all the robots we have produced within the scope of waiter, stewardess and social robots, has 5 movable fingers, flexible knee, waist and arm joints. It also has many features such as skeletal tracking, imitation, autonomous navigation and charging and shock absorber wheels. Our ADA7 robot has the flexibility to include many features such as payment, temperature measurement, barcode reading according to customer demands. ADA7, which is designed based on the needs of different sectors with its external appearance and added technical features, is a brand new social robot where aesthetics and superior abilities come together.
Of course, our work in the field of robotic technologies was not limited to ADA7. In 2022, improvements were made to our ARAT robot, Robot Arm and AROS operating system. New features such as seeing, tracking and recording have been added to our quadruped robot ARAT. ARAT, which has improved mobility and flexibility, is now with you with its latest version 4.1. Another product of ours, the Industrial Robot Arm, has become a final product as a result of motor R&D studies and will be put into service very soon. In our AROS operating system, which continues to develop and renew with each passing day, Ardesigner and Arview were renewed this year, while optimization and software improvements were made.
“The World’s First Humanoid Robot Museum”
As Turkey’s Robotics Brand AKINROBOTICS, we have achieved another international first. We opened the Istanbul Robot Museum, which is the World’s First Humanoid Robot Museum, in Istanbul.
As you may remember, I shared with you here for the first time that the foundations of this project were laid last year. As I mentioned above, our museum is located in our reconstructed Istanbul Regional Directorate building. Istanbul Robot Museum was established to protect, examine and evaluate all robots and robot parts produced by AKINROBOTICS, and most importantly, to raise awareness of the society on robotic technologies. As I stated at the groundbreaking ceremony, this museum is a first in the world. The technological development of robots, designed with the R&D studies of AKINROBOTICS and prepared with the aim of 100% domestic production, is exhibited in the museum. At the same time, there are 67 robots, 804 electronic parts, 211 mechanical parts, components used in engine construction and 141 sketches in the museum. Also at the Istanbul Robot Museum, the last robot of the humanoid robot ADA series, ADA7, which has never been seen before, the quadruped robot ARAT that moves non-stop on the platform prepared for it, the industrial robot arm that plays Tic Tac Toe with its guests and much more awaits the visitors.
In our robot museum, which is a first in the world, we present the development processes of humanoid robot technologies and computer systems from past to present to the attention of all technology and science enthusiasts. In our museum, where children have the opportunity to make their own robots with robotic kits in robot workshops, our visitors can see our work and products closely, as well as experience new technologies in interactive interaction areas and watch the brand new capabilities of the humanoid robot ADA7 with the demonstration of our ARAT robot on challenging tracks. This museum, which we opened in Istanbul, will also have an important place in terms of showing the whole world the point our country has reached in the field of science and technology. May this brings good luck to the country, the nation, and all humanity.
As AKINROBOTICS, Turkey’s Robotics Brand, we will continue our R&D studies in 2023 in order to develop all of our existing projects and move their capabilities to the highest level. In this direction, a new year awaits us with an intense work pace.
The world is developing and transforming rapidly. Of course, science and developing technology are the basis of this transformation. In the age we live in, we cannot remain indifferent to the technological developments in the world. Therefore, we should strive to carry out works for the future not only for ourselves, but also for the sake of humanity, no matter what sector or field we are in. In this direction, we, as AKINSOFT and AKINROBOTICS, continue our activities in all our fields of activity with this awareness and dedication. For this purpose, I hereby express once again that we have fulfilled each of our visions that we set in the days of our establishment and that we also started the plans to offer AKINSOFT and AKINROBOTICS to the public and to establish AKINSPACE High Technology Institute, which we aimed at in those days. Stating that we will continue to serve science and humanity with our new projects for the future in line with our principles and visions, I wish a year that will pass in health and peace in the light of science and technology with these thoughts.
