Dear INOVAX readers, humanity is going through a big change and transformation process as a result of the effects of the coronavirus epidemic, which has affected the whole world. Digitalization was the basis of the transformation in this process we experienced, where we faced restrictions in many areas from our business processes to social life, from education to travel. In this period, we witnessed the rapid spread of digitalization all over the world.
Thanks to the spread of vaccine studies, especially the second half of 2021 marked the beginning of removing restrictions albeit relatively, and returning to normal lives. Although the restrictions and measures were gradually removed, almost all sectors and many companies operating in these sectors suffered great losses in the past process. But scientific and technological developments continued unceasingly to serve humanity.
As AKINSOFT and AKINROBOTICS, the high-tech manufacturer of our country, we have shaped our work in the direction of the needs caused by this negative period, we have realized our science and technology heritage in order to minimize the negative effects of the pandemic and to ensure that no sector or business suffers any damage during this period. Our online food ordering system is MyRezzta, QR Menu, which provides touchless transmission of menus and orders in cafes and restaurants, MyFranchise, our franchise management solution for businesses that operate with a multi-branch model, Our ProCoiffeur program is for businesses that work with an appointment system, such as hairdressers and beauty salons, HotelSmart, our online reservation system that we have developed for facilities and institutions such as hotels, teachers’ houses, police houses, etc. that accept accommodation with reservation. In this process, it has taken its place among the services we offer.
In this period, we continued to add new ones to our innovative works that we carried out in line with changing needs. One of these works is the 3adimdais.com platform that brings job seekers and employers together online. With this service, we aimed to develop a new platform that will design a recruitment process that will make both employee candidates and companies feel valuable, in order to transform the recruitment processes, accelerate and reduce costs without losing the human focus, by using the power of technology. The dizzying developments in technology in recent years have brought great convenience to humanity in many areas, especially in our business and social life. In this age of technology we live in, 3adimdais.com, which will bring employers together with more candidates and talents and job candidates with the right job and company in their career processes by using digital technologies, was put into service with the vision of directing Turkey’s employment market.
Another new service we have is LimonDesk. LimonDesk is our cloud-based solution developed for companies that want to increase their service quality by instantly responding to users’ questions on the website. Users can install LimonDesk on their website in a few easy steps, and provide a perfect experience to their customers with ticket (support) records, FAQ and blog modules, and proactive proactive messages. In addition, with LimonDesk, users can access the messages left by their customers via live support, even if they are not available, via the browser at any time and inform them.
Another issue that I would like to mention regarding the innovations we have implemented will be about our Istanbul Regional Directorate. As of last year, our existing building was demolished and the rebuilding process was started. I would like to take this opportunity to express that our regional directorate building, which is currently under construction, will be completed and put into service in a very short time with its new, modern appearance and technological infrastructure.
While the works we have carried out within our AKINSOFT brand in 2021 take their place in the sector, we are leaving behind another busy year as Turkey’s Robotics Brand AKINROBOTICS. As in previous years, we continue our efforts to serve science and humanity with new projects as well as the development of existing studies this year.
As AKINROBOTICS, we will introduce you to a new product, the 7th generation of the ADA series, in 2022. As you know, we have had different robot studies that we have produced within the scope of waiter, stewardess and social robots. In this new project, a brand new humanoid robot will be put into service, in which we bring together the functions of all robots, as well as superior capabilities with many features such as movable 5 fingers, bending joints, movable mouth and eyelids, autonomous navigation, autonomous charging and shock absorber wheels.
Another robot project that we started working on during the pandemic process is our “Service Robot” project. Our robot, which is designed with an autonomous navigation feature, will be able to keep the products it will carry at the desired temperature thanks to the heating and cooling chamber on it. In addition to the food and beverage industry, the work of our robot, which can be located in areas such as hotels and hospitals, and which will offer its users the opportunity to receive contactless service, continues rapidly.
Our other work is in the field of agriculture. As you know, the PNCR series, which is the AKINROBOTICS agricultural robot project, which we announced on May 30, 2011 and designed entirely within our own structure as a beet production robot, took its place in the history of the world. Our PNCR prototypes were produced to provide added value in the agricultural field as robotic systems that disable the human error factor and maximize land productivity. After our PNCR series robots, we also have an autonomous field robot project, which we have recently started to work on to add a new one to our field robots, which will assist in agricultural works, short-distance logistics, gardening works in medium-sized agricultural lands and will do the desired work in the desired period. The first tests of the drive mechanism are currently being carried out.
In addition to these new projects, our R&D processes also continue for AKINCI in the biped robot series, and for quadruped robot ARAT, for our industrial Robot Arm to be used in industry and service, and for UV-C Sterilization Robot, which we developed to provide the sterilization and disinfection processes needed for public health with the onset of the coronavirus epidemic.
We launched the UV-C Sterilization Robot, designed and manufactured by AKINROBOTICS, in 2020. UV-C Sterilization Robot provides stable and precise sterilization in closed and contaminated areas with high risk rates. This robot, which can be used in many sectors that need high sterilization, such as hospitals and operating rooms, dining halls, food companies, sports halls, children’s playgrounds, performs navigation with 2D lidar. By supporting this with a 3D camera, we continue to work to ensure that the system moves flawlessly in more challenging areas.
As AKINROBOTICS, Turkey’s Robotics Brand, we will continue our R&D studies in 2022 in order to develop all of our current projects, from their features to their design, and to bring their capabilities to the highest level. At this point, a new year awaits us with an intense work pace.
In addition to all these new and existing works, I would like to share with you a new service that we have announced before. As I mentioned above, we will create a robot museum in our Istanbul Regional Directorate building, which is currently under construction. As I stated at the groundbreaking ceremony, this museum will be a first in the world. The robot museum was created to protect, examine and evaluate all of the robots and robot parts produced by AKINROBOTICS, and most importantly, to raise awareness of the society on robotic technologies. In our robot museum, we will present the development processes of humanoid robot technologies and computer systems from past to present at the disposal of all technology and science enthusiasts. This museum, which we laid the foundations of in Istanbul, will also have an important place in terms of showing the whole world the point our country has reached in the field of science and technology. We observe rapid developments in the field of informatics and robotics around the world. These two fields, which will undoubtedly determine the fate of countries, will be the carrier of important sectors such as defense, food, health, and industrial production in the future.
