The first step for our country to develop rapidly and catch up with high technology-producing countries is to BELIEVE. Believing is not fifty percent of a job, but all of it. In order to produce technology in my country, individuals must first experience the technological revolution within themselves and really believe in it.
Many countries that produce today's technology experienced the industrial revolution in their own selves in the 1940s. They learned to meet their needs and tied other countries to them economically. For example, in the 1940s, Japan was able to build its own airplanes, aircraft engines, aircraft carriers, and so on. Unfortunately, at that time, we assumed the role of a country that was dependent on other countries, a country that bought technology from abroad rather than producing it. So, what happens if we do not become a country that produces the high technologies of tomorrow as we did in the past? Did you close it yesterday? I remember there was another factory you closed recently, sorry, you didn't close it. You turned it into a cookware factory. Do you remember? We turned our car factories and airplane factories into pot factories... Tomorrow we will be back to that point. If we don't, we will buy cars from abroad, airplanes from abroad, and helicopters from abroad. And we do. They wrote to me about our first prototype work in the field of Robotic Technologies. They said that other countries have been working in this field for 10 to 15 years and it is not possible for you to catch up. They said, "Why are you doing it, the Japanese have done it, buy it from there, why to bother?" I said it then. I said it then, and I say it now: "The country will produce its own product..." We consider it a national duty to pioneer the advancement and development of technology in our country, and in this context, we continue our work with determination.
You cannot overcome something that you do not believe in in your heart and say you will succeed. If you want to succeed, you must continue on your way without a moment's pause and never take your eyes off your goal, despite the people who try to hinder you and throw dirt at you. Every human being is a fighter. At all stages of his life, he always struggles with himself and his environment. And success is inevitable for every person who knows that they are on the right path. For 20 years, we have been continuing our work with our own capital and efforts without interruption in order to be one of those who direct the rapidly blowing technology wind on behalf of our nation in the technology journey we started in 1995 and to be able to say that we are also present in the changing and constantly renewed technological studies. While the successes we have experienced illuminate our path and give us strength, we never move away from the awareness of doing this on behalf of our nation.
The biggest thing that needs to be done to become a country that produces technology and sells it to other countries is to start living the Technological Revolution in the minds. If we need a helicopter, instead of thinking about which country we will buy it from, we should plan how we will produce it. Life is about our choices. If we think of life as a journey, we have to make new choices every moment we are on the road. We go through many turning points to determine the best strategy and reach the goal. At every crossroads, at every choice, we choose a single option among many possibilities. We have always been one of those who choose to believe and succeed. In the technology journey, we started 20 years ago, we set many long-term goals and realized them one by one. Finally, we are realizing a Technological Revolution in our country by laying the foundations of our robotic factory, which is our vision for 2015. With this revolution, the development will continue and we will need young, idealistic, experts in their fields... Let's trust the intelligence of the people of this country.
As long as there are producing and researching brains like us, we will become a country that exports technology, not importing it. Robotic technologies are now being produced in our country. Our work continues uninterruptedly. At the end of our prototype studies, we will make the most modern robots and prove this to the whole world. With our projects that make human life easier, we will continue to produce so that our country can have a say in the world in high technologies. Together for a Producing, Developing, and Developing Tomorrow...
