I am happy to be with you in the 18th Issue and 5th Year of Inovax Magazine. In our past issues, I have written articles for you on many topics from business life to being successful, from working hard to producing, from unity and solidarity to technology. I want the subject that I will mention in this issue to be a little different. In one of our previous issues, I wrote deeply about being leader and leadership... Let me remind you again briefly. I defined the leader as , "a person who is accurate, honest, foresighted, constantly renewing himself, able to see the future, take the necessary steps, have high persuasion and success skills, can use his emotional intelligence well, think correctly even in difficult times and take strategic decisions quickly, and is open to change.I defined leadership as "is the mission of a person who has the ability to see the future, to make decisions for the future, to make studies and plans not only for himself, but also to lead those who follow him on this path, from the moment he is born.”. Millions of people will accept and approve these definitions without exception. So how do these leaders live?
Only by these definitions? There should be some people among the readers who thought about all the articles I wrote. This man is so successful; So what kind of private life does he have? What does he do outside of work? Does he just work?... It will be a pleasure for me to tell you about a day from a leader's diary. There are many people working like me. Of course, it is not easy to manage hundreds of people. It needs great responsibilities. But my job has one more challenge than other managers, which is that software is a profession that requires a lot of concentration. There is an opinion settled among most people that ones who deal with software are asocial. There are scientific explanations , personal opinions and arguments approving this theorem on this diagnosis. I don't know how asocial people live, but let me try to summarize the daily activities of a software developer you think is asocial... Is working hard one of the biggest criteria for success? Yes! But it will never get you to your goal alone. A successful leader has to serve as a model. To people in all areas of his life…That's why I didn't just work. While I was doing my job in the best way, I also spent time for my private life… Observation is one of the most important characteristics of a leader. Photography is one of my best hobbies, as I like to photograph what I observe. Is there any other social activity as pleasurable as showing people a detail that no one else has seen? Relative! I felt like I heard you say...
Definitely relative concepts are the areas that people are most interested in... Photography appeals to people's visual senses and can reflect their taste in the photographs they take. But I get too much of pleasure about photos that integrate with the pleasure of the ear, which is an effective source of our senses… People who have been dealing with music for years can't be wrong! Isn't music a tool that reflects our every emotion? It has always existed in every moment of our lives when we are sad, happy, depressed, having fun. Implementing this by myself is an enjoyable task. I also fell in love with this enjoyable job. First, I started with "Bağlama", which can be considered as the cornerstone of Turkish Music Culture, and then I added different musical cultures to my life with "Guitar" and "Piano", which are compatible with the phrase "music is universal" and later joined our culture. Finally, I gave a color to my music life with “Tulum”, which requires a strong breath and widely used in the Northeast of Anatolia, one of the most beautiful places in my dear country. We appealed to visual senses, we produced music that sounded good, but what about the summer?… It will be necessary to share what i see and what i hear? I also started to write. As the moments when I listened to myself and wrote down my feelings increased, my poems, my words that I hope to guide future generations, and my literary writings in which I describe the intensity of emotions emerged.
I saw, heard, wrote…I had to feel every emotion and be informed about everything to do these. I lived… I sailed to our deep blue and uniquely beautiful seas. Listening to the wonderful sound of the wind, I sailed to endless hopes… Is it just the surface of sea that gives you pleasure? I also tried the inner deep. Swimming so close with a thousand kinds of sea creatures is like an exciting journey to one's inner world. .I took pleasant walks and rides with my horse in green forests, with the pleasure of clacking footsteps. I loved to think while stabbing my sticks in the snow in both frightening and peaceful silence of white, and the sweet harsh feelings left on my face by the cold.
I was interested in each branch of sports and my passion for tennis was different. A sport that I always enjoy with the power that racquets give people… Now I remembered something that I forgot to say at the beginning of the article! “A leader is a person who can make ordinary people do extraordinary things, create suitable conditions for them to discover their own talents, lead the masses for a certain goal, and put philosophy ahead of psychology.” "Leader; is not the one trying to be like someone else or trying to be different from others, he is the one and unique..." Now do you understand why I didn't waste any ounce of this life for nothing!...
